Each guide begins with a category and a set of candidate product links. We collect the product details visible on the linked retailer pages, together with available manufacturer specifications and other public product information. The products published in a guide form a shortlist, not an exhaustive survey of every model sold in that category.
Comparing public information
We organize visible specifications and product claims around practical buying factors for the category, such as features, intended use, maintenance, and trade-offs. Public customer feedback can help identify recurring questions or concerns when available; it is not a substitute for verified performance testing. If a specification is missing or unclear, readers should verify it with the seller or manufacturer instead of relying on a guess.
AI and hands-on testing
AI assists with organizing collected facts and drafting comparison text. The publishing workflow calls for reviewing drafts against the available source material before a guide is published. Unless a guide explicitly documents testing, Pickory has not performed hands-on or laboratory tests of the products in that guide.
Ranks and scores
Rank order reflects the guide's comparison of available information and category fit. The displayed Pickory Score is generated from the product's position in the list; it is a presentation aid, not a laboratory result, independently measured performance score, or retailer customer rating. A higher score should not be read as a measured difference in product quality.
Affiliate links and changing details
Some retailer links may pay Pickory a commission after a purchase. This commercial relationship should be considered when reading any buying guide. We do not process sales or control retailer prices, stock, delivery, returns, or warranties. Product information and retailer listings can change. We review guides when new information or corrections are available, without claiming a fixed update schedule; a displayed update date should reflect an actual review.
